This loyal companion sporting dog is believed to be the best all-rounder pointer as well as retriever dog. Temperament
The Vizsla dog breed is calm, firm and affectionate breed, well going with children, affordable with other canine at home but after socialization, challenging in housetraining due to its stubborn trait and self-sufficient. Younger kids would be at risk while in close vicinity due to its large size, supervising such events. Excellent runner needs extensive exercises to satisfy its physical and mental stimulation. They tend opt all destructive temperaments when left idle or moved away from family.
Minimal grooming is required, occasional brushing would prove enough. Short coat is merely a protection to weathers rather this breed would survive in warm climates living outside but needs shelter in cold seasons, keep them indoors, preferably with soft beds and warm clothing.
